Water – Essential For Life

Water plays such an important role in maintaining your body’s normal function

It is recommend to drink at least 2L per day for both men and women. Which means you really have to make time for those cups or bottles of water.

Don’t forget that the benefits of drinking water extend past just hydration:

  • it is sugar free – a 600ml soft drink can contain up to 16 teaspoons of sugar
  • inexpensive and available everywhere
  • keeps your kidneys healthy

Signs of early stage dehydration can be:

  • excessive hunger
  • tiredness and lethargy
  • dry lips/mouth/nasal
  • dark coloured urine
  • slow reaction time
  • worst case – confusion and hallucinations

Keep hydrated everyday and your body will thank you for it
